Rachel is a Physiotherapist and NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) from Calgary, AB. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University, Scotland after completing her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia.

As a physiotherapist, Rachel has experience in a variety of settings including acute neurology, inpatient rehabilitation including an 8-week internship at Isokinetic – a FIFA Medical Centre in London, England. Prior to practicing as a physiotherapist, Rachel worked for 7 years as a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist with a variety of populations including stroke, geriatric injury prevention, and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation.  She was also heavily involved with the UBC Football team and UBC Women’s Field Hockey team as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. As such, Rachel understands the importance of returning to your sports and activities, and integrates her knowledge and expertise using a combination of manual therapy, strength and conditioning principles, and individualized exercise prescription to help you reach your goals.
Outside the clinic, you will find Rachel out and about exploring the BC great outdoors, at the gym working on her Olympic lifting, or at the library studying as she completes her MKIN in Coaching Science.
